Provide directions faster with link to customized Google map

I used to send a screenshot of a Google map to people who needed directions. Now thanks to Google's "Link to this page" feature, I can email the link to the person. When the recipient clicks the link, it goes to the map I created.

Another idea is to use the link on your company website so customers can find your business easier. For example, under your company name and address on your website, add the word "map" or "directions" and link it to your customized map.
