How to send digital files that are too big for email

Sometimes our communications manager, John Farrar, has to send large digital files to printers. Because our Microsoft Outlook server limits the size of attachments to 10 MB, John uses YouSendIt. This free service lets us send files up to 100 MB in size.

You also may want to consider drop.io. This free service lets you upload files up to 100 MB in size and create a link to send to others so they can access your file.

Another free service, FileUrls, lets you send files up to 250 MB in size. Once you upload your file, you get a unique website link that you can email to the person who you want to download the file.
