Youtube has lots of how-to and training videos. For example, search Youtube for "Microsoft Excel Tutorial" to see some training videos. You can download Youtube videos, import them into your video iPod, and view them while on the plane, subway, or whenever you're waiting.
Here is one way to copy Youtube videos onto your iPod:
- Go to Youtube and find the video you want.
- Copy the the link of the video from your browser's address bar (e.g., "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNPNS6MT1Kk"
- Go to Viddownloader where you'll paste the link and then download it to your computer. (Or if you use Firefox, you can use the Video Download addon to download videos.)
- The video will appear on your computer as a generic file called "get_video". Change the name of the file to what you want and add ".flv" at the end of the file name. (e.g., "Intro_to_Excel.flv".
- Download and use the free program called Free Youtube to iPod Converter to convert your video to iPod format.
- Drag the converted video into your iTunes "Movies" folder. Now the next time you synch your iPod to your computer, the video will appear in your iPod's "Movies" folder.
