Restoration is a small, free program for recovering deleted files. If you emptied the Recycle Bin and realized there was a file you needed to keep, you can launch Restoration to find and restore it. The program can also retrieve deleted files from digital camera cards.

This is a wonderful tool! If you need something slightly heavier duty though and are willing to pay a few dollars for it, the R-Studio software package is pretty amazing. You will need to acquire the appropriate version based on your file system however (i.e. R-Studio NTFS vs. R-Studio FAT32).
