Let's say you found an interesting interview on YouTube and would like to extract an MP3 of the audio for your iPod or cell phone for future listening. Here's how you do it:
Using Firefox as your browser, add Magic's Video - Downloader extension to it. This Firefox extension makes it easy to download YouTube or other online videos to your computer as an flv. (Flash) file.
Download the free program FLV Extract to your computer.
After you download a video, just drag it to the FLV Extract window and it will create an AVI video file and an MP3 file for you. Now just transfer the MP3 to your iPod or cell phone.
